Many women all over the world desire a slimmer figure. But not all of them are willing to exercise and cut down on their favorite fatty and sweet foods. Or, they might not have the time to work out and prepare healthy meals.

That’s why many products nowadays promise instant slimming without the need to have a healthy diet and lifestyle. One of these products is the Kymora Body Shaper.

The Promise

You may have seen their infomercials while watching TV, and many women have been amazed and ecstatic about the effects of the Kymora Body Shaper.

A lot of women have unsightly bulges and love handles, which become especially visible when wearing tight-fitting tops and dresses. By putting on the body shaper, you can look as if you’ve lost as much as 20 pounds as it smoothes out all the rolls and bulges to give you a smoother silhouette.

Although a lot of body shapers in the market cover up one roll but in turn creates another roll, the Kymora covers up the whole problem area to avoid the bunching up of fat. It starts from below the bust line and ends comfortably below the waist. This way, excess weight is distributed evenly.

Other body shapers also come in single pieces, so they are uncomfortable and time-consuming to put on. The Kymore comes in two pieces, one top and one bottom, so you don’t have to hassle yourself in squeezing yourself into a single piece. It uses micro fiber technology, so you feel snug and comfortable. It does not use metal wires, irritating boning, and other hooks that could feel painful and annoying, so you can achieve a smooth and seamless look under any type of clothing.

Aside from giving you the appearance of instant slimming, it also improves your posture. By straightening your back, you will appear more confident and slender.

Does it live up to their promise?

Although some women are satisfied with their purchase, a lot of them do not feel it is worth their money. It does smoothen out the curves and bulges, but the results are minimal. You would have a better silhouette, but you wouldn’t exactly look 20 pounds lighter.

Also, there have been cases where customers do not get the body shaper in the right size. For this, Kymora has included a sizing chart in their website. The mistake could have been on the part of the customer, who deviated from the provided sizing chart.

Another complaint is that the “bonuses” listed in their website are not actually free. What starts out as a $40 price tag totals to about $70 with all the “freebies” included. Customer service is also not as responsive as it should be.

The Verdict

If you have a minor bulge that you want to smoothen out, and if you don’t mind paying $70 for it, then the Kymora Body Shaper is for you. But if you want to look 20 pounds skinnier, as their infomercial states, then you might be disappointed.
